Canon 350d /18-55 /18mm
1/100 / F8 / Av / ISO 200 NY. Lower Manhattan, West Side. I took this photo in September 2005 but when I visited New York this summer the entire pier was gone, condo development was under way. I guess it is piece of the history now :-) Check Photo Location Guide article about this location. Read article >>> |

Do you seek out the orange, or does it find you?
Same thing happens near all over and the word ‘improvement’ is heard a lot. All comes down to cash, I guess, but the true value of what is lost forever will be realized some day. A good shot of record.
Lovely details captured and great colors too, well done!!
Lovely location, beautifully shot. Too bad about the condos, it seems all nice locations are ultimately destined for the same fate.
nice one... looks really cold out :(

Beautiful location it is. Nice colours en details.
Nice photo! Plenty of details and an interesting composition with leading lines.
